Mel Odom had been a huge admirer of actress Marsha Hunt, so it was quite an honor for him to finally meet her in the flesh. And, in a rare instance, the real Marsha turned out to be just as nice as Mel had hoped. As he states himself on the story card for the outfit "Paradise in Pink" (based on her wedding suit from 1946): "I came away from lunch smitten that day, and have never ceased to be so."
