Tonner Wizard of Oz Contest
I was very excited to see the Tonner Doll Company announce their Wizard of Oz Doll Contest; of course I had to enter. The first photo shown here is the one that earned a spot in the final top 3. Below are my other 2 submissions.
I have other Tonner Oz doll shots, such as this one, which uses a little Photoshop magic to close Judy Garland's eyes.
This is probably one of my favorite Oz doll shots, showing the Billie Burke Glinda. Still, I didn't think Glinda could carry a win in the contest, so I didn't submit it.
I would be SOOOO appreciative if you'd vote in the contest...for my entry! Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day to vote, so please visit and submit your vote today. Here's the link: http://bit.ly/1dJCCv3. You will be asked to pick one of the three photos, as well as one of the three new endings to the original tale (which I did not submit). Many thanks in advance!
Follow my Gene Marshall, Madra Lord, Zita Charles, Violet Waters, Trent Osborn, Poppy Parker, and other classic movie star doll updates on Twitter. See more Wizard of Oz doll photos on my regular website.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHello there! I feel very bad asking this, but I am desperately going around to find this Billy Burke doll. Have you ever considered selling her? If not I completely understand. I am just such a huge OZ fan and so just got Dorothy and the trio recently, and now I'm seeking out Glinda and the Wicked Witch and I cannot find the actor inspired ones anywhere! Again, if this will never be the case, I completely understand. I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask for the small chance it could happen. Thanks for your time!
