More Marilyn
The Franklin Mint did a tribute to Marilyn Monroe's entertaining of the troops in Korea by releasing a replica of the sparkling purple dress that she wore when performing. The first photo here is from February 9, 1954, and shows a huge crowd of love struck men taking aim at Marilyn with their cameras. I wonder where all those photos are now?
On how I wish the Mint would release their dolls with articulation; this particular outfit and doll just yearn to be posed creatively!
Follow my Gene Marshall, Madra Lord, Zita Charles, Violet Waters, Trent Osborn, Poppy Parker, and other classic movie star doll updates on Twitter. See more Marilyn doll photos at my regular website.
